On me head

Who says Germans don’t have a sense of humour. This made me laugh.

Scott Pilgrim vs the trailer

August 24, 2010

Nice idea to promote the latest Edgar Wright movie Scott Pilgrim vs the world. I’m not sure you learn anything more about the film than you would from a conventional trailer, but it feels in keeping with the movie premise and made me play along and interact. Which is more than half the battle. Nice here.

If like me, you enjoy a good bit of stationery. Then you’ll love the work of Jung Von Matt Ag to promote the mobile phone horror flick 13th street. You’ve got to see the letter tear. Gory stuff here.

Dirty boy

More interactive fun. This time thanks to Axe (American for Lynx) de-oderant. It features clever use of your web-cam. Tonally it’s pretty low-rent, but fun all the same. Check it out here.

Kill or be killed, in this choose your own adventure game. Incredibly complex fun here.

Kammy, kammy give us a wave

April 7, 2010

This is why we love Chris Kamara. In case you are not from The England and or have lived under a stone. You won’t know who Chris Kamara is or what is going on here. Basically here in The England you are not allowed to show live football that kick’s off at 3pm on a Saturday. The result is a tv show that has a panel of football pundits who watch the football on tv (that you can’t see) and describe what is happening, sounds rubbish but is compulsive viewing for every footie fan.

Absolut state of mind

March 24, 2010

Absolut have kicked off their series of creative collaborations with a 15 min documentary featuring Jay-Z. Nice brand and artist tie-up here.

That was the week that was

February 1, 2010

Sorry I didn’t post much last week, but the last seven days have been the most hectic and the most fun at work.

We started out by launching the world’s first Augmented Reality clothing range for kids label BrightsandStripes. A huge technical and logistical achievement which we turned around in two months.  Phew.

We were also involved in putting together all the advertising for the world’s first 3d football match. Pretty amazing to say I was one of the first people on the planet to have seen the event.

And then we had to launch the new and final series of Lost, which we did by hiring the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Who condensed all 5 series and over 100 hours of tv viewing into just a ten minute theatrical show. Very funny stuff.

Video to follow soon.
