The follow up to the gorilla ad is out and to be honest I think it’s shite. It all feels too forced. The music, the idea and I don’t ever really get the sense of enjoyment, the cutting loose and being free aspect of the first ad. I guess thats a result of being a sequel, it will never be as fresh or as interesting as the original (see Sony Bravia campaign).
Apparently this is really old, but I only saw it at the weekend. It just shows you what you can do with editing and music.
If you believe this fella, who has just returned from the Asia. Over there ad’s no longer have web addresses on them they simply have a search bar with the keywords you should type into google. The reasoning, well most people actually type in the full domain name into google anyway so why not make it more friendly a couple of cute keywords.
Bert Simons is from the Holland and makes sculptures from paper. It’s a cool technique that seems to be getting some press at the mo. Nice work if a bit strange. Check it out here.
David Shrigleyis an illustrator turned photographer. This is probably the funniest pic on offer the rest of the work is so so.
For the sum of $1626 (I guess that’s about £800). The financial wizard that is David Horvitz (no, I’d never heard of him either) will travel to a small Okinawan Island and send you an envelope filled with star sand. Aaaahhh isn’t that nice of him.
